    Mystery Grips (to me)

I posted this earlier in an older thread and figured I might get more responses by starting a new thread. I got these grips that appear to go to the same kind of gun, but I can't figure out what. I've searched many grip sites and pictures but haven't found anything that matches, so I was...

    Gun Grip websites!!!

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this picture and ask the question if anyone knows what these grips go to? I have searched many of the sites listed earlier in the thread and have so far come up with no matches.

    Help identify .25 ACP magazine

Yeah, I keep seeing similarities to several other models but have yet to find an exact match to the release cutout and the witness hole slot. Thanks for the info Bob.

    Help identify .25 ACP magazine

I came across a few miscellaneous mags in a box from an estate sale recently and have one that I can't positively identify. I've looked at hundreds of images and can't find one that matches it exactly, but the closest I've found is for a Beretta Bobcat 21 (.25 ACP). I'm hoping someone here will...

    Negligent Discharge at Gunshow...

Thanks for the reminder! I have to admit I have taken my two sons with me to a couple of gun shows and while I focused on making sure they followed safe gun handling and basic etiquette rules, I think I've taken for granted that everyone else was as well. I guess it's kind of like...

I saw the laziest gun in the world today!

That's how guns are these days I guess. They're either out there shooting everybody indiscriminately, or like this one with no ambition whatsoever. Whaddyagonna do? Glad you made it safe and taught them how to handle it correctly.

Is the 12 gauge losing it's appeal as a defensive weapon

Classic...can't believe it took 19 replies for someone to bring that up and that I didn't think of it first. :) As to the OP's question, I think the 12 gauge has lost appeal to some, but probably shouldn't be forgotten as really viable alternative for HD. My wife doesn't go to the range or...

    opinions and reccomendations please?

Think about the ammo cost ...and you might end up with something in 7.62x39 which could then turn into several somethings in that caliber. I enjoy shooting my SA-85M (AK variant), my SKS, and my Ruger Mini-30...all different platforms but the same caliber. Enjoy the agony of this decision. ;)

Live in Mo trust not an option who does the sign off for sbr

I live in MO and have been filling out my C&R (FFL03) paperwork and was told by the Chief of Police that it is the Sheriff who signs the paperwork as the CLEO in this case. Good luck.

Learning to shoot with the weak hand

I've rarely posted here but learn a lot just reading old posts and answers to the questions others ask. I have read the advice of many to practice shooting with your weak hand but never bothered...mostly because I feel I need so much improvement with my basic technique since I've only been...

Buying a Model 10, looking for advice

Thanks Old Fuff, I hear what you're saying; and I do have another option in my .40 cal S&W model 410, but just thought that if there was an appropriate SD ammo for the pre-10 it would make sense to have it on-hand.

Buying a Model 10, looking for advice

SD Ammo for Pre-10? I also have an old Pre-10 (dates to about 1905) that I am learning to love to shoot at the range, and I'm also curious as the OP asked in #13 if there is a good, safe, SD ammo to keep on-hand for it. I have been told that due to its age, I should only shoot all-lead, non +P...

As a righty who shoots lefty I have wanted a LH rifle for a long time so at 43 I decided I'd waited long enough. I got this used Savage Model 10 Tactical .308 at auction this weekend for $500 and have researched what I could online, but always like the info I get here. Here are my questions...
