Cool! That seems a little low for NIB but whatever. I like it! I just made arrangements to pick it up this weekend instead of next weekend. I gotta drive to Southern Illinois to get it. That's another story.:cuss: When I get back I will post some pics up. Thanks for the info!
I actually got a pretty neat little Springfield. Its a Commander but it's kinda rare from what I can tell. I don't have pics yet as I haven't picked it up yet but I will post some after I pick it up. If any of you guys know anything about the Commander model 1911 Springfield please chime in...
Waaaaaaay outta my price range. They are nice though!
At this point, I've kinda said to hell with it. I've heard that they have been having some quality/durability issues as mentioned above.
I got my 20ga youth model Mossberg 500 loaded with high-brass #6's. The short barrel and stock make it easier to swing. The #6's will do the job no problem at the distances in my apartment and don't kick as bad as the 12ga. Plus, I don't want to send an errant 5.56 round or a hollow point...

I can think of another city (almost due south) that we should treat the same.
Evansville Indiana? Clarksville Tennessee? Mobile Alabama? Cancun?
I'm thinking E. St Louis.
Nice!
My Dad bought one of these about a year ago and it is a sweeeeeet shooter. It'll probably end up being my nephews first deer rifle when he hits that age.
I love my HB middy. It fits my shooting style. I like to keep my front hand in front of the mag well. (on my AR anyway) The rifle balances perfectly on my front hand, and it allows me to keep my elbow close to my torso. Personal pref I guess. Personally I like the middy length because it...
They are listed in the catalog for this year. Thats where I saw them. You can download it here. http://www.magpul.com/catalogsignup.html I have never had these but I have seen them and they are lighter and appear to be more durable than the GI Issue handguards. Plus I like being able to mount...
I wonder if lapping the barrel (before the first time shooting it) would help. I used to have this problem with (Traditions, CVA etc.) blackpowder rifles and to fix it, I would take Flitz and a cleaning jag and polish the machineing marks down and the groups would be more than acceptable. I...
I have a RRA mid-length heavy barrel and I have been wanting to put some different handguards on it in order to mount a grip and a light/laser. After looking around I was almost ready to order some aluminum rails handguards although I REALLY didn't want to add anymore weight (than necessary)to...
When I was 17 my Dad offered to SELL me his 78 Ford Fairmont :) In his defense he did get me my first .22 (Marlin 60) and I still have it, and love it even though it won't cycle anything! Nice job! Tell him Good Luck in the Corps for us.
