Y'all are crazy! There is nothing manageable with a little snub-nose 2" barreled 357 mag. I have a Magnum Carry and put one or two cylinders worth of mags through it! Only shoot 38spl though it since, and carry hot +Ps. 38 +P is all that's needed for such small belly guns. I'm really looking...
My LGS has the 7.62x39 & 6.5 Grendel on order with the 20" HB. I'm going to get one of the 7.62s in either the Highlander or Multicam when they come in.
My SR1911 and CMD have both proved to be 100% reliable and accurate. I wouldn't choose one over the other but I think the CMD balances all little better than the full size.
Recently I had the chance to review a G30S and believe it could possibly be the best Glock to date. If you like the G30, which I always have, it is all that but a little more compact.

How I came up with my results was by measuring the diameter around the grip, not from the widest point. Measuring from the widest points won't give a realistic measurement of how it would fit in a human hand.
They are both good pistols. A 1911 is heavy and the SR45 is a little lighter but you do get the additional rounds.
Not a comparison but I just recently did a review of the SR45, maybe it will help in one way or another. - http://lead-slinger.com/ruger-sr45
Don't have a pic right now but I just measured the SR45 and my Ruger SR1911 at the middle of each grip. SR45: 1.7656" dia. / SR1911: 1.6875" dia. So 0.0781" (or 5/64") dia. diff. between the two, not much for a double stack .45.
Ridiculously accurate... Ridiculously good trigger... Ridiculously slim grip...
Seriously, for this type of pistol its accuracy is above par. The striker-fired trigger is better than most. And for a double stack .45 acp its about as slim as a 1911.
I know some here own one and have already...
Not sure how much they are going for especially under these frenzied times. Commercial buffer tube was on this one but their site states they are now offered with mil-spec. I actually prefer mid-length but I test what they send. Del-Ton seems to make a quality product and it's certainly accurate...
