    Anyone arm themselves at Home?

Yes, I sleep next to mine. I see little point in owning a firearm at all if its not accessible for defense, especially at home.

    Wolf .223 for SHTF/HD?

No trigger job, just a bad batch of ammo. About 1 in 15 will fail the first strike, about 1 in 20 fail the second strike.

What's it worth?... Colt Delta HBAR

Are you basing this off of actual knowledge of this specific rifle? This is no ordinary AR-15. The Delta grip is with it, the hogue is in-addition. And no case deflector, I don't believe the factory model came with one.

My Gunfight - "Thinking Outside Your Box"

This is always the case in my dreams. Lately the gun disassembles itself in my hand when I pull the trigger, it's actually rather comical.

Your gun rights vs the right of business owners...

I won't copy all of it, as it was long. But, very well written. I agree with every word.

Your gun rights vs the right of business owners...

EXACTLY! I agree. This is very similar to my views as well. And I would do the same. I "think" you grasped my point, Sam. I also think we're on similar pages. My post was directed more for the short answered "rebels". In some cases I see that the mentality is similar to someone at a party...

    On an individual basis, yes.

Your gun rights vs the right of business owners...

Every business has the right to refuse service to anyone on an individual basis, at any time, without reason. Bottom Line. Piss and moan all you want, but those right need remain sacred. Carry elsewhere.

    Grocery chain gone anti-gun...

This type of response is disgusting, it does nothing to support any cause, only ones greed. A merchant has the right to refuse service to anyone. I also think that the "victim" deserved it. He obviously failed in his efforts to carry concealed.

Excellent example of a prepared citizen

There seems to be a lot of misconception in this thread surrounding the details of the incident. Perhaps, if anyone wishes to further write out their "interpretation" of the event, they should first watch the 25 minute interview from the man himself. Surely the story from his mouth is more...

Funny CCW convo I had recently

He did not insinuate protection/defense as much as he did that in such a situation he would take through force what he needed to survive, from those who were more inclined to be prepared and have what they needed. This is called robbery. My comment was not against defense by any means, it was...

    Robbed

Your home was burglarized, not robbed. Since you have made a case of it, it is important that you understand the difference.

Funny CCW convo I had recently

I don't know that it was mean, but it certainly does nothing to promote responsible firearm ownership. I also believe that you could learn from this "granola", as food and water most definitely ARE the most important aspects of survival, then shelter, the protection, in this case a firearm...

    Floating .22s, are any good?

The Marlin Papoose is probably as "top quality" as you're gonna get. What pistol do you currently carry? If something accurate like a Ruger Mark III or 22/45 I would just keep using that. Don't but a rifle that you'll hardly use, but a dry float bag instead. Like this Stowfloat
