    .308 WIN Loads

Anyone got any experience with IMR 8208 XBR in .308 WIN? The burn rate for 8208 is in the accepted range for proper port pressure in semi auto rifles like the M14, M1A and Ar 15s. I have used it in an AR, just wondered how it behaves in .308.

    30 Cal bullets really .307"

I have measured my 30 cal. bullets and get .3075 on Noslers, .307 on Hornady and the "MIL" spec FMJs from Wideners (I think they are made by General Dynamics), using two different calipers. Any ideas?

    AA #5 vs AA #7

Anyone got any experience with these Accurate powders in .45 ACP ( 1911)? Recoil characteristics, like firm push vs sharp snap, and muzzle flash. Accuracy, and dirty vs clean (relative comparison)? There are a million posts on Accurate powders in this forum and I didn't want to run through all...

    M1A Brass

I have some experience with what the M1A does to brass, and from what I can tell Lake City, and Federal hold up the best to semi-auto rifle usage. Does anyone have a better recommendation that those I mentioned. Will on use Remington even for bolt use as I can not get the neck tension to...

    1911 Ejectors

The ejector on my Sig Sauer 1911 is loose at the rear of the ejector, problem or let it go for a while. Any ideas on what would loosen the rear post on the ejector, I may have about 1500 rounds through it?

    45 ACP Brass

I have done a lot of reading about .45 ACP headspace and case dimensions for 45 brass and I am left wondering as my brass collection which includes Winchester, which runs short (.891-2) and gets shorter quickly, to RWS, Federal, Speer, Fiocchi, and PMC (which seems to be longer on average...

    9mm & Power Pistol

I've used Unique before for 9X19mm, but have been reading about Power Pistol. Just wondering what experiences everyone has had with this powder, since it was suppodely developed for 9mm.

    45 ACP Loads

I know this may be a tired subject, but I am trying to save myself a lot of searching on the forum. I am looking for a good powder to use in my 1911 (Dan Wesson Valor). I understand that the old Unique is fairly dirty, has anyone used the new formula from Alliant? I am also considering...
