Kimber is making a run of Tacticals in 9mm this year. It will be a special run so you may want to put a deposit down with your local gun shop. I have a stainless target in 9mm and it's a lot of fun.
It's funny to find this topic posted as I've been thinking of a similar problem for a few days now.
While I've shot my P7M8 quite a bit I wouldn't say I've shot it extensively, as I have my 1911. In drawing my 1911 from holster I take a strong grip immediately upon grasping the weapon, and...
I understand Gila Hayes, Marty's wife, is an excellent teacher and the women only program there is very strong. I've talked to her on two occasions and she's really helpful.
My main issue with this law is that you have to obtain a court order to regain your guns. I wonder what percentage of these calls alleging abuse are unwarranted and why a citizen who is falsely accused needs to obtain an attorney and pay to regain what is rightfully theirs?
I'm trying to find a load to make power factor for IDPA using Bullseye powder and .230gr Rainier bullets. Anyone have data on 4.5 grains? I'm told by a friend that I'm fine but I'd like to be sure before I load a few hundred.
I really don't think there's a fight to be had here.
I think we can all agree that we can fully express ourselves without offending our fellow members beliefs. In the larger sense I fully agree with Gunmoney. However I view sites like this as an extension of my friends. When I'm in the...
I also shot my first IPSC match this past weekend. Shooting 230 rounds in a 4 hour match is definitely fun. The main difference I found between this and IDPA is that IPSC is more of a problem solving exercise than IDPA.
It seems that in IDPA the scenario is so heavily scripted by the...
I remember a post about a fellow who was driving from Pullman to Spokane and was pulled over by a Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy and ended up being jailed for open carrying a loaded pistol. Or as was posted he had an unloaded pistol in his lap w/ a full mag next to it.
Was this you...
If you reload keep the primers away from the powder and other ammunition. I have a safe and keep my guns and ammo in it. However, the primers are stored in ammo cans seperate from any other combustibles.
USAA now sells it's products to all, not just active and retired military. Their insurance is good, but their mortgage division is a bit of a train wreck.
Does anyone use those clips that you can use to tuck your shirt over the VMII? I purchased them and have yet to use them. As the weather gets warmer I'll probably give them a try.
I carry a 1911 and so that's all I've used in IDPA. I have a Kimber and a Yost-Bonitz that I can choose from. I use my IWB holster also as I consider IDPA to be an opportunity to work on those "carrying skills". However I will admit to being sorely tempted to use my Blade-Tech OWB kydex...
Do be sure to try one before you buy, that's great advice. I've had my P7M8 for about a week now. After the first 25 shots I thought I might be selling the gun, the grip felt so off from the 1911's I normally shoot. But after 200 rounds and keeping an open mind I love it. As said earlier...
Was it really on April 15? If so I guess I unwittingly did my part.
I got a HK P7M8 on the 15th, and a Ruger Mk III .22 Hunter on the 16th.
Glad to help!

Boy, it sure feels like a big deal to me. Just how many freedoms are you willing to give up in the name of "security" and how many unwarrranted intrusions on your privacy are you okay with?
