I am in Florida and I just got mine. I paid $49 for the 4 hour class and $117 for the permit. The gun class supplied the ammo and the permit was submitted electronically. The picture and fingerprinting along with the paperwork was all done electronically at the Florida Department of Agriculture...
Just a quick update, as of today 248 lbs. and the BARETTA STORM 9MM COMPACT is still my #1 pick for the 2nd concealed carry. I have been also looking into the S&W Bodyguard 380, but have been reading some reviews about the the trigger locking up and not disengaging after firing. But then again...
Oh just a quick FYI as of today 249 lbs, and looking into Baretta Storm Px4 9MM, Glock 26, Kahr PM9, Walther PPS 9mm. With a LE discount it makes each one that I am looking at easier on the eyes! (I am not in LE but a good friend is) Even with the discount I still tend to lean towards the...
Oh yeah, forgot to tell ya'll, October 2nd we fly out to Vegas for 6 days and then May 3rd we take a cruise for 7 days! I keep a picture of the Berreta storm sub compact with my formula on how to turn fat into steel along with each weigh in, guess I am going to need to bring it on both vacations...
Smokey Joe, I keep hearing the last 10 pounds is always the worse! So I came up with a solution to that problem, increase your goal by ten pounds so when you are stuggling to lose the last poundage you will already be there! :) Thinking this way tends to make this a little easier! By the way...
I have been playing also with the Glock 19 compensated. I have to check on what price I can get it for! I thought it was just a little to big for concealed carry, but will borrow a friends (which is not compensated) and take to the range and see how I like the feel and how it feels concealed. i...
Mike PGS, I did look into the M&P 9c, I can get it for $498 + tax. I have been looking into the M&P SD (self defense) in 9mm, it's a little bit cheaper! It just seems to me Smith & Wesson tend to love there guns a little to much for my taste! They want to nickle and dime there customers to...
Just an update, as of today I am now at 255.6 lbs. (started at 267) and it's been now as of Tuesday 5 weeks. I need an honest opinion, I am stuck trying to decide between the Glock 26 and the Beretta PX4 Storm sub-compact. I can get the Glock for $398 + tax and the Beretta for $446 + tax.
Thanks all for the incouragement and advice! I usually drink my coffe at work and the company supplies it! So it's not really an issue. I take Nexium for the reflux, but not on a regular basis. I was thinking about the Glock 19c but decided it was just a little to big for concealed carry...
harmon rabb, it's called being married and that usually means it's both our money not just one of ours! We discuss things before we buy, which I know you know what I mean! :)
Thanks, this is info I am looking for! As of now the Beretta PX4 Storm Subcompact is on the top of the list and Glock 26 with pinkie extension is running 2nd. After reading your reply I will take another look at the Kahr, it is by far less expensive than the Beretta and Glock! Yesterday I had a...
ATBackpackin, I am already doing as you say! (weight loss) Dealing with the Kahr, I was told by a gun shop that the Kahr is a fine gun but if I took it to the range and ran 50 rounds through it my arms would be tired because of the lateral kick! Is this true, have you had this problem or not?
Dnaltrop, I agree with you, Soda is hard to quit! Coffee on the other hand is harder to stop! Thats my opinion at least! Had to cut back due to reflux, so I fill the cup one-quarter full and fill the rest with water and put a decaf coffee single bag in it to help with the taste! It helps the reflux!
just an update on the agreement, I started the weight loss on 7-27-10 weigh in at 267 and as of today 8-16-10, i am at 259. well on the goal to acquire my new compact pistol. I changed my mind from the Taurus pt111 to the Beretta px4 storm sub compact.
CoRoMo, take a look at the images I posted. This is the paperwork that the Doctor supplied. The Fruits are on image #3 which are classified as class 2 and image #2 describes what class 2 foods are. "Carbohydrates generally contain a higher caloric density and are recommended in lesser quantities...
Hey I am glad I posted this thread, sounds like alot of people are starting to think about improving there health and body. That even makes me more excited about what my wife has suggested! By the way I have (as of this moment) choosen the Taurus Millenium Pro 9mm (PT111) Normal price at Shoot...
