What if one then subsequently sells the firearm, using an FFL for the background check and transfer. Does the sale go into the bound book?

When I undergo a background check and fill out the papers to purchase a firearm, is there a record of the firearm tied to that background check? What if I purchase multiple guns? Asking for a friend.

Being pedantic here, you can't detonate black powder because it doesn't. Deflagrates. Might be hard to tell the difference if you are sitting on top of it when it goes off....

I think I am going to let this one be....there is too much in the rules and regulations for ammunition purchase or transfer, and I think I am going to surrender and just ship brass and bullets home. The loaded stuff will stay, or we will work out a way to ship it via the CA transfer process...

It's easy to want to carry everything and the kitchen sink. Take a minimalist look if you are hunting. If you are at the range, minimalist still works, you have your range box there. I prefer to use a small/medium-ish sized bag, the big ones have been or will be given away. David NM
