    My Krazy Cowboy Carbine idea

Nothing New I once saw a antique 1892 Winchester 25-20 in a beautiful fitted case. Guess what accessory slot was missing, the suppressor. It was considered a gentleman's varmint gun for shooting around the estate.

Since when do we want silencers??? Haha

One Time, Really they're no different then any other accessory. Like adding a scope, laser sight, red dot, range finder, or a flashlight. De-List them altogether. Shoot for that. :)

Why was 7.62 a standard caliber during WWII?

It should be noted that in the original design/plan of the M1 Garand it was a 10 round en-bloc clip for .276" caliber. I think it was Gen.MacArthur that squashed that idea because of the abundance of 30-06 ammunition left over from WWI and cost savings during the 1930's depression.

Proper rest for sighting in a revolver?

When I shoot for best group, to prove out some test loads or see how good the gun will shoot. I use a sand bag rest sitting at a bench, a two hand hold, with the frame area just forward of the trigger guard resting on the bag along with my wrists, elbows on the table. It's not the same as...
