I just ordered one from Pyramid Air. I will let you know how it is when I get it. The steel breach option for the 2240 fits it, but replacing that means that you have to use the open notch sight or a scope. I like the peep so I will probably keep the plastic breach on this one.

HW30s is good on squirrels out to 25 yards and is really quiet.

Could your scope be touching the rear sight when closed? If the scope is good and the gun shoots good with Irons, it has to be the mount somehow. I had a drooper mount slide back when I 1st mounted it on an R7, I didnt think it needed the pin, but it did. Also, I had my R7 start to scatter...

cslinger, if I was shooting in a nice room like that, I would be filling holes in the walls a lot. :)

In the back yard I use 2 straw bales stacked, with a rubber door mat hanging behind for shoot thru shots. In the garage I made a plywood backed 2x4 box lined with duct seal which makes it very quiet.
