    SNS Cast/Coated 125 GR for 357 Sig?

Looking for an inexpensive range bullet for my 357 SIG. Thinking this SNS bullet MIGHT work, but wonder about the lube/crimp grooves there might compromise the case neck's grip on the bullet. Anyone tried these? Would like to hear your experience.

Kimber Raptor II - Any Good?

LGS just put a used Kimber Raptor II in the case. Looks nice, and I could probably get it for about 700. I have never owned or shot a Kimber. Some love 'em and some hate 'em AFAIK. The extractor looks wierd to me, and what little I know it has a Swartz(?) interlock. Anybody out there have...

    Anneal New (old) Brass?

I have 5 boxes of .225 Winchester brass. AFAIK it might be 30 years old from the look of the boxes. I've heard of brass "age hardening". Plus, I've had many 225 cases' necks crack after only a couple of loads. Wondering if it would be wise to anneal these new cases' necks before loading them?

    Model 12 Riot Gun Conversion?

My brother has been given a "beater" model 12. The exterior finish is extensively rusted. Apparently his friend's father who owned it had the "acid" skin. Wherever he touched it, rust started and continued. He wants it as a HD weapon and asked me to convert it. My plan is to cut the barrel...

    Load 9x19 using 9x18 Dies?

Title says it all. Is there any reason not to load 9x19 with a 9x18 Makarov die set? Just raise the dies a silly millimeter.

    Laser Checkering?

Shopping for boot grips for my Model 60. I see many offered with "laser checkering". I have never seen an actual example of this. Does anyone out there have some? Does this feel like real checkering, or is it some lame excuse like Remington used to pass off on the unwary? thanks,
