My S & W's do that too. I think it's due to the gap between the barrel and cylinder and using heavy loads. Supposedly that gap can be reduced but I don't know how they do it. I just live with it. Course I shoot lighter loads now so I don't have too much of a problem with it anymore. Good luck.
