Just looking for input on the kits and your shooting experiences with one concerning function
and how long the floating chamber is good for before cleaning is needed.
I'm looking at a '50s shooter grade kit that has been lightly buffed and re-blued, so no
collector value here.

Maybe the title should have been Canadian Commemorative Carbine instead,
but it felt like Christmas to me when I saw it.
It's a 1977 Navy Arms '73 that is unlike any I've come across.
The barrel measures 18 1/2" as opposed to my Navy Arms standard carbine
(also made in 1977 - serial numbers...
Could use some knowledgeable help from BPS owners on this fixed choke Browning.
It's an 18 1/4" hunting model made in 1985.
Went on-line searching for choke markings and came up with either IC or modified.
Thanks for any help,
JT
I got an e-mail from GunBroker today informing me that starting April 1st they would
begin collecting sales tax for 36 different States on completed auctions.
How do you think this will affect sales?

I e-mailed a seller (FFL holder 800 transactions) this time with 6 days to go.
Three questions with the 'ask a question' option concerning a used gun.
Simple questions that did not require anything more than picking up the gun, no disassembly at all.
The reply? - The gun looks very nice...
Just wondering how to post sale ads for handguns with high capacity magazines.
I see many ads where dealers just say 'no sales to --- or ---' where mag. restrictions are in place
with no proviso about just selling the gun with no mags.
I know I can send the handgun itself to a dealer in a...
While helping settle up an estate, I came across this ammo and thought I would share
because it's the first I've seen.
The ammo is listed in my guide book - Section F-3. Had never noticed it before while perusing various Military loadings.
From the Guide book:
72 million rounds made in 1979...
Maybe a few folks could suggest cleaning solutions that might help lift out oil out of a few stocks that were in a safe (that protected the guns all right) during a fire that sort of cooked some of the oil in.
The fire was fast enough that the scopes on the guns were fine, the guns just have...
I was perusing a few old Gun Digest 's and re-discovered this article that I am sharing in part.
Interesting that Oliver Winchester's first cartridge patent was for a cartridge conversion, only in reverse.
This article is copied (in part) from the 1952 Gun Digest published by the Gun Digest...
I really want to try one of the Ghost Inc. 3.5 trigger kits in my 17L, but am bewildered when I
get on the web by the variety of them. Can I get a few opinions as to what you like , how it is holding up, and is the kit worth the effort of installation.
Thanks,
JT
Hoping someone can post a link to pistol load data for
CSB-1.
I've read it is similar to Universal, but all the links to data I can find are closed.

I am selling a few cheaper priced handguns and of course will be shipping them to a FFL holder. I do understand THAT is Federal law.
My question is whether there is a Federal law that requires me to ship them NDA as opposed to Ground when using Fed-EX or UPS.
They would not be labeled to...
LGS has a blued 58 that is really clean, just a trace of left side muzzle wear.
No box, aftermarket target thumbrest! grips.
A guy can't keep up on all models, so I searched the usual suspects with no luck for prices.
Just wondering if anyone is up on current values.
They are wanting...
