    1849 pocket questions

I picked up a 1849 pocket last week that Is in overall nice shape. Wouldn't lock up, had a hair trigger, wouldn't turn the cylinder when pointed upwards.....all things since fixed with only a new hand/paw for turning the cylinder. My question is I have read a lot of info on this and all...

    Grips that fit?

I've got my eye on another Colt 1860 Army, from 1862. Overall pretty nice---but--- the grips are very poor replacements that don't fit right at all, showing 1/18 of the backstrap here, about the same of the trigger guard there. Are there any replacements that will fit this that are, at worst...

I bought this as a unbuilt kit at an auction around 10 years ago. Just in the Styrofoam and no instructions. Wanted to make it look aged and google searches brought up soaking it in vinegar but it gave a look I didn't care for and which was somewhat...

    Hand and trigger spring replacements

I'm back! Well, I got a good deal on a very mechanically sound 1863 production 1860 Army. Excellent bore with only slight pitting in the first 1/4 to 1/2" near the cone, the nipples have not been shot out, still just a little hole in them and the rest is sweet. Locks up tight as my Uberti. BUT...

Help with an Uberti Walker replica

I got one second hand and it had a few modifications such as a ASM replacement barrel. Not a good idea as it required some mods to the rest of the firearm to get it to a"work" condition place. I got a new replacement barrel and it fits much better then the ASM, head space is nearly non existent...
