    Shooting Techniques need help.

.22s are good for learning how to shoot but not always learning not to flinch, I think going the opposite way of a .22 might be better. Have him shoot a 12 gage with bird shot a few times at something reactive (pattern of balloons taped to back stop, or a few clays at close range). The recoil...

What to Bring to Glacier National Park: S&W 460v or S&W 629?

I agree with everyone else 629, with one difference, smear bacon grease all over it so when you are done shooting it at the bear drop it and run. If you are lucky he will stop to lick it and you will get away.

    What about Colt Gold Cup?

I have a brand new Series 80 in stainless. It has the 100 Anniversary medallions on it (I know BFD) I am just a recreational shooter but fairly serious about rifle target shooting so accuracy is important to me. It shoots great! at 21 feet I can put all rounds into one ragged hole. On a bench...

Picked up my Browning Hi-Power today......

Nakanokalronin, Do you still have the Mag disconnect safety or have you disabled it? I am confused as to how the trigger lightened up, is it breaking in or was it modified? I am debating on picking upo a Anniversary BHP at my LGS and I am a little worried about the stock trigger.

    Good hot .380 ball ammo

I will second the Remington ammo, it was also accurate out of mu PPK/S. The Fiocchi performance was not as good in my gun.

    New S&W Walther PPK/S-1 .380 Engraved

There is a nice thread on the waltherforum that is about "Why your S&W PPK is better than your others". Just when you google the new PPKs it comes up with all negative reviews from that forum. I joined there too and everyone has been nice to me..... so far, and I have not been a sarcastic dick...

    New S&W Walther PPK/S-1 .380 Engraved

Micheal, Thanks my point about the exactly! BTW I do not think bad S&W PPKs will lower the value of your collection, it will make the value of the non Smiths higher because the are allegedly better. They did a good job on this one and it works great. I would have bought a new Interarms but...

    New S&W Walther PPK/S-1 .380 Engraved

When I went to pick up my Clot, 1911 Gold Cup Trophy, I spotted a shiny factory machine engraved Walther PPK/S sitting on the shelf. Against my better judgment the fancy shiny gun made me buy it. I am not a fan of compacts or .380 ACP but.... it felt good in my hand, not too small or light like...

Some long range shooting with my '60

I use .22 tracer ammo to teach shooter about ricochets. It is amazing what happens even shooting into a sand berm, if you shoot off angle a little.

compressed Triple Seven loads in an NAA Super Companion

Easy busyhands, I don't want to read about you blowing up a cylinder and having to type a post with only one hand. I have the NAA Super Companion too and it seems just fine with FFFF Swiss. If you want more powder get a bigger gun.... or a couple of them. I now have seven from the NAA SC to the...
