    Uberti va Pietta

The 1871 was my first single action that is not a 45. I have have had to cut back on my loads due to nerve damage in my hands an 30 grains of holy black and a 250 grain bullet were to much for me to shoot a match so I switched to 45 cowboy specials and 38 special and now I am still able to...

Shotgun or lever action for bear

If you are moving to the Island there are not many gizz there, the odd one will swim across from the mainland but they are rare. Big blacks and lots of cougars on the island, and not the good kind. Courtney is very nice. I am up in the interior, just West of Prince George, right now and love it.

Shotgun or lever action for bear

Where in Canada are you moving? Like I said earlier, I used to carry a 870 with slugs when I worked in the bush in Northern and coastal BC. There were many days where I would pack my gun and then it got to be to much of a burden and I would leave it in camp and sure as **** that would be the...

Shotgun or lever action for bear

I agree with the .454 I used to work in the woods and I carried a rem 870 loaded with slugs. Now when I go fishing or hiking my .454 M92 goes along with me it is a lot lighter and packs enough punch to stop any critters around here. I wish I had it when I was working in the woods.
