    Roll pins

The only place I've seen an actual roll pin used was on the MAU-56/A delinking feeder for a minigun. Most are actually spring pins. All of the so called roll pins in an AR-15 are actually spring pins.

    Firearm Building

The only rifling machine I spent any time around was a modified Rock Island Arsenal machine that was made to rifle .50 BMG barrels. It was modified to work with buttons or broaches. The button was turned by the movement of the ram.It takes a lot of force to pull a button and don't believe the...

    This can't be good...

It is a crack.Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be a replaceable part. The schematics I looked at show it as an integral part of the barrel.Try to contact Remington about it.They may be able to replace the part at the factory.

Any help would be most welcome

I meant stainless.I prefer the ones sold by Dawn.I've used them for years. They will not remove bluing. They might remove cold blue but it doesn't take much to do that.I've never tried the copper chore boys.None of the stainless ones I've used were branded Chore Boy.There may be a difference.

Any help would be most welcome

I would use Kroil and a stainless steel pot scrubber to clean the metal parts. There is a similar scrubber sold for cleaning firearms but the pot scrubber is readily available and the same thing. The stainless scrubber will not remove bluing.
