whatever happened to the Springfield Armory line of scopes? I used to have one for about a week and then the tube filled with some sort of flake material, so then I shot it with a M82 the next time we went out to zero! probably could sent it to Springfield but it was funner to shoot it.

recently won a weaver 3-15X50 Tactical scope at a match, seems solid enough but wondered if anybody had much experience with it. Reason being for a new $600 plus scope might be worth selling towards something else before I use and abuse and degrade value before I decide I dont like it. Thanks...
