A Ruger old model Single Six with a XR3-RED grip frame came into my shop. the grip frame is broken and needs to be replaced, but for the life of me I cannot find a grip frame for the 'old model' revolvers. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

The only practical use I could see for it is hunting in areas or seasons that do not allow rifles but allow handguns. Other than that, it would be fun to shoot. With that said, I would rather have a 16" carbine with a full stock. It's probably my next purchase, in fact.
