    Gun Lube Evaporates?

I also use Mobil 1. And for applications where grease is needed or when I want a coating that will remain where applied, I use Synco Super Lube. It is also a synthetic.

    Armslist-percent who respond?

I've sold a rifle and have purchased a pistol using Armslist. Both went well. It is a useful resource and it requires reasonable caution.

    Identify this Bayonet?

That grip and lock looks familiar. I found a page that shows a few similar blades. Sarco once sold them. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=yataghan+bayonet&id=A5A5D7ED402513FD7777507F5BF91FFFCBB3C680&FORM=IQFRBA

Pellet pistol: Your opinions solicited - which of these and why?

I got this version of the Crosman. The main reason I got this model was that I could use my laser boresighter to align the optical sight I use with it. They are accurate pistols. http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Crosman_1322_Air_Pistol_Black/2657

Looking for advice on pellet guns

I just got a Crosman 1322 and the scope blocks and finally, an inexpensive red dot scope. It is a reasonably priced and accurate pistol.

Do you give a copy of your CCW,& BOS, to a stranger?

I won't purchase a firearm without a bill of sale. I bought a pistol from a pawn shop and had it about a year and a half and traded it for another pistol at another gun shop. Around a week later, a police officer came by to ask about the pistol that I had traded, as it had been reported...

    Help with CZ 75

If you have access to a range that rents pistols, try what they have to offer and see if they show that characteristic. With any luck they may have a 75 type pistol.

School me on NAA Mini revolvers

I had to concede my hands are too big for the mini. This works for me. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=naa+mini+revolver&qpvt=naa+mini+revolver&FORM=IGRE#view=detail&id=5403A268FC9AD2FCABF65B5531FE9FEB4DAE0748&selectedIndex=121

    Worn out polygonal rifling?

The 82's rifling is quite subtle, but if you take a round object that is as close to the diameter of the barrel as possible, place it in the barrel and look down the bore while shining a bright light up the bore so it shines around the object it enhances the bores' irregularities. When I traded...

I like mine, don't have to worry about the finish like the 2 FN's I had before.

What are your opinions of MecGar Magazines?

Mecgar mags are an item you can buy and use and forget, because they just work well.

Finally assembled back my CZ 82

Saw the title and knew the slide stop spring had to figure prominently. Mine took 3 hours and a set of hemostats to get in. Congratulations.

    WWII - Vietnam - TL-29 Lineman’s Knife

I remember working on 12-series radios with one. A needy lineman would get my sheath and pliers.

    WWII - Folding Survival Machete

I have a Cattaragus folder also. It is a bit worn, but as I am leery of using it, it won't get too much wear. Nice to finally hear of it's intended purpose. Thanks!

    Star M43 9mm

They are good pistols. as others have said parts may be eventually be hard to come by, so keep your eye out for parts as you can find them. I have seen a few full page ads in SGN for magazines for the Interarms imports.
