    Don't buy a Cooper

I guess I must have missed the part where the United States Government attempted to suppress Jim Zumbo's freedom of speech.

Best red dot for under $100?

Yes, why go with a less expensive one that works just fine, when you can totally go without while you're waiting to save up for a high-quality expensive one that works just fine? Hee... Millets are my friends! :D

    Took the Highroad at Quiznos

I'm going to have to be the spoil-sport and point out your glaring mistake. You told us both kinds of cookies they ate, and which soup was ordered, and then kept us in the dark about their final choices in sandwich. Sorry to bring it up, but it needed to be done.

I asked Obama about Gun Control...

Despite his "thoughtful candor" on this subject he is likely being disingenuous. Intellect is to be celebrated. Politicians with conveniently tailored "changes of heart", not so much.

So my wife had a ND....of the worst kind.

The gun isn't jinxed. Always treat the gun as if it's loaded Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot... Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction I have to join in on asking why she would ever treat the gun was unloaded, rack the slide, and pull...

    A Rant In Progress.....

Well, this thread (and in particular this quoted post) have actually inspired me to be a bit less critical of people's use of slang at the range. Thanks, I guess. :)

Never doing business with MIDWAY USA again

You might want to learn to spell "ridiculous" correctly before using it to mock new folks. ;) I find "welcome to THR" works better with newbies though.

Dilemma due to high UPS shipping rates!

So he initially quoted you 40 and later you both agreed to 50, and you paid him what you both agreed on. If he's charging money for folks to buy what he's selling, it's his responsibility to research his shipping costs beforehand. "I sent out your package today and did so going on good faith...

    Taurus PT 145

I had a very nice Sig .40 P229, but went over to the .45 Mil Pro. I currently have two PT145s (2nd and 3rd generation) that have had no issues over many, many rounds. They eat any ammo they're fed, have nice ergonomics, and hold 10+1 rounds of .45ACP. I love 'em! BUT, having said...

    RIG Grease No Longer Available

Dang. Rig+P never let me down on all my firearms while some of the popular lubes broke down. I use it like crazy, and never have issues. I just got the last jar they had from Midway. :(

    The 'critical mass' attack

Obviously the mob wants to turn over your car to give you upside-down hugs. After all, any mob who flips your car with you in it is in absolute control of their emotions, and has a strong group dynamic towards loving interaction with the person who is the focus of its group activity.
