I've got a Pro Tle that shoots like a champ. I'm adding an extended slide stop for easier access and I'm gonna give it a bob job. Ill post pics when I'm finished with it
I just traded into a sweet 226 Elite Dark and I love it. The only problem with it is that he didn't include the allen wrenches to adjust the sights and it arrived with the sight so loose that you could probable just slide it out of the dovetail. 2 questions: Why would Sig put such awful sights...
I actually boil my brass in an old pot with dish soap, water and a squirt of lemon juice. Then rinse and bake on 200 for 15-20 min. Not super shiny brass but works like a champ
I have personally shot both but I own the XD45c. The XD I got is the most accurate polymer gun I have ever shot. I got mine with a mild Robar customization and it has now become my favorite gun.
I have both a 642 as well as a 640-1 no lock. Both shoot wonderful but the 642 hurts w/ +P ammo, but the 640 w/ 357s is no problem ata ll. For that reason I carry the 640-1. FWIW
I currently carry either a 642 or a 640-1 in an El Paso leather pocket holster. I find them both very comfortable and shootable. I prefer shooting 357 out of the 640 to +p out of the 642. Those +p rounds feel like someone is slamming a car door on your hand after a while. My vote is for a 640-1...
Hi guys,
I've been bitten by the revolver bug and I'm looking to trade my SR9c in. I was wondering what a fair trade price is on it. It is in good condition say 95% and comes with a horsehide Supertuck. I had it for trade on here but to no avail. I think I might take it to a local gun shop...
Holy Cow!!! I just got home from the range after shooting my new 642 for the first time. All I can say is WOW. I drove all the way home with the biggest smile ever. It shoots like a dream. I think I'm in love.
1st Wheelgun is a 642
Not a bad start to my new wheelgun addiction. I don't know why I haven't been toting one of these around from the start. It just disappears in my pocket.
Howdy Everyone. I'm proud to say that I will be a member of the 642 club very soon. I'm waiting on it to arrive from it's former owner. It is coming with a el paso pocket holster, altamont boot grips, cyl and slide grips and some speed strips. I can't wait to go shoot it. I'll post a follow up asap
After having the Sig p250 .40 and a Glock 30 .45 I settled with a Ruger SR9c for CC. It fits in a Supertuck and vanishes on me. I shoot the 9 better than the .40 and the Glock was too bulky to carry concealed. YMMV
