Loaded or Unloaded In The Safe

At least your friend does have good taste in firearms wanting to look at your HK, as do you.

    10mm & 40 cal Blackhawk?

You nailed it. The single actions are fun to shoot and the 10/40s offer plenty of it.

Do you like your 5" GP100 44 special???

    Try compact grips.

Ruger GP100 .44 Sp for HOT Loads

I am a GP100 fan and when Ruger introduced the Gp100 44 Special, I had to get one. It is a joy to shoot, easy on both the wrist an ears. I reload a 200 gr coated flat nose lead at 900 fps. I would like the 10mm version, but have a Blackhawk 10/40 Convertibe to get me by for now.

Maybe you could list " Gun case for Glock 19, with all factory contents, $500. " lol

    Armslist no longer free.....

Missouri here. In above post I said I was able to open Contact with local dealer. Just now tried to open Contact with non-Dealer and I got the Upgrade notice. So I can browse ONLY, unless I Upgrade..

    Armslist no longer free.....

I wouldn't mind so much a $25 annual fee. Retired, so kinda watch what I spend. I'm not in it for profit, just to get a different gun every now and then to try out. Guess I need to find something different to take up my time. I was able to open up a contact with a Dealer here in Missouri this...

    10mm & 40 cal Blackhawk?

Over the years I've had probably 7 or 8 .44 Mag. revolvers and several .44 carbines and enjoyed them all. But at 75 yrs. old now with arthritis and bone joints worn out, I am not a fan of heavy recoiling revolvers anymore. The only 44 Mag that I still have now is my 77/44. I can do limited...

Deer rifle for a 100 pound girl

Let her stick with the AR if that ts what she likes. Federal makes a .223 round loaded with the Nosler 60 gr. Partition bullet. It kills deer very dead. I saw my 10 yr old kill a deer with 1 shot, and did it for the 3 following years. You don't need heavy recoil to kill a deer.

    Sig P290 rs - thoughts

I had one, loved the size, could actually pocket carry it. I am 6'2" tall and could never get use to the very short trigger reach. So I sold it. A year ago I came across another, and remembering how much that I liked the size and thinking that I might have had a bad one, I bought it. Again I...

Help me chose my next .44 magnum revolver

I recommend staying above 4" and even 5" in a 44 mag. The recoil is not bad but the muzzle blast is extremely loud.

    Glock 22 .40 vs Ruger SP101 .357

I do not agree that the 357 becomes a 9mm. In real life it will out shoot the 9

    9mm Carbine...

The KELTEC is light weight but the front sight design is too high and very snagable. The CX4 is a beautiful gun, but it's just too darn heavy being a open bolt design. My thoughts are to build an AR in 9mm, maybe even 10mm. Had both. Now keep a Rem 870 20ga youth model in the closet for a home...

How long can a snubnose be?

2-1/2" or less and must be no bigger than a K frame. A 2-1/2" 44 Mag however doesn't qualify as a Snubnose, but it does as stupid, stupid loud that is.

S&W model 60 why no love?

Ruger, get your d*** act together!

Beautiful and I bet it will shoot ads good as it looks.

Considering Getting Out of 40 S&W, Your Thoughts?

I got away from the 40 to reduce ammo inventory then the ammo shortage hit in 2012 and 40 was all that I could find. So got back into it. I don't shoot it a lot, prefer my 9's and my revolvers. The 40 will be kept, just in case of another 2012 event.

Glock Gen 3 or Gen 4?

I have both. Today, I would only buy a Gen 4, however I will not sell my Gen 3's to support the purchase of a Gen 4.

    XDS or Shield?

I bought both, sold the Shield. I liked the grip safety on the XDS. Boh are really great quality and reliable guns.
