I doubt the Republican leadership will be interested in acquiescing to Dingy Harry's wishes. Hopefully, he'll soon be gone and Nevada will display better sense in picking his replacement. Here's a nice little sign in Reid's home town of Searchlight, NV:
I've had several K22s over the years and I prefer 4" barrels. The two I currently own are both 5 screws made in the early 1950s and are both great shooters. I would recommend you save up and watch for a nice K22 - you'll never regret replacing your Ruger with a Smith. The one on the bottom...
Nevada is a give him the money and take the firearm state. In Clark County only until last year buyers were supposed to take handguns to Metro (police) to register. That went away (thankfully!)
If you're wanting a paperwork trail of some kind, it's highly unlikely there is any.
Mine's a mix.
Presses: Dillon550 Lee Classic Turret RCBS RCII and a little Lee C press
Everything else is whatever I bought when I needed it; just about every available brand name is somewhere in my reloading room.
If gun training is a good idea let's start with Eddie Eagle in all elementary schools.
Project Appleseed in all junior high schools would be a good way to continue that training.
Promoting JROTC in high school might also be good for the country.
My 995 eats about any ammo, factory or handload, I have ever fed it.
A double-stack magazine would be a good change.
I wouldn't expect it though -- seems they can sell every one they make of the current model.
Sweet. It would be a shame to not shoot that. They are a lot of fun and an easy way to score cheap .25 is to look for partial boxes at gun shows or pawn shops.
Go shoot it and think of your dad.
Ravens were pretty good little pistols, especially considering their low price; poor people deserve defense too. The cartridge is weak but they were probably the best that many could afford. I've owned several and they all functioned well until/unless they were dropped. I've got a couple:
Thanks, that's a lot of information. I like the tip about hiding part of the sight under the butt pad. I do have a couple of Williams sights on lever actions and like them; I'd like to add a peep sight to my Marlin 1895. I was just hoping I could use this one on something I've got.
Again...
Sorry I didn't include that measurement -- oversight on my part. All measurements were done with a vernier caliper so they're approximate.
Distance between centers for the screw holes is 0.600"
I don't have any Mauser-style rifles without scopes. Any idea what I should ask for it if I sell...
