Dixie gun works has mutton tallow again they were out for a while. I tried your recipe a couple weeks ago using beeswax, tallow and wax. I used soy candle wax from my wife's candle making supplies and durafelt.

They call me asking for money constantly!!! Send me renewal notices even when I already renewed! Really is annoying. I gave extra to them in the past and I think that is why they keep hounding me now. I understand they want the money but to much is to much.

Thanks for your response. I think I'm gonna like Missouri bullet. There quality seems good. Takes a while to get em though they tell you that on the website.

I have 2 pt 1911 and they work best with 7 rounds in the chip mccormic power or shooting star mags. Factory mags work well also. I never have luck with cramming in 8 rounds. The mags will say they hold 8 but they will reliably fire 7.
I shoot exclusively surplus 7.62x54 and I have no problems just clean after. As far as reloading I might in the future but I already reload a lot of pistol because that's what I mosly take to the range. The corrosive is getting higher and-higher round here so might be a good idea in the future.
