They seem to fit every size hand. Myself, have not got the biggest mits in the world and a 1911 feels as if it were made just for me. Being a lefty, reaching for the mag release with my index finger is much more natural and swipeing off the safety with said index finger on the draw works very well.

Years ago when I'd first gotten my CHL. A friend who was a deputy would walk up and pat me down. If I wasn't carrying he'd go off, asking what I was going to do if I needed to shoot someone. He was quite the clown for a LEO.

I see your point about the size factor, as I have a Kahr Mk9 and on the other end a Beretta 8000 not the Stoeger clone. The one small but heavy the other larger and heavy.
