    Beretta 90-Two

A few: You can swap out the grips to change the palm swell size, but Beretta’s grip options are slick in the hand and there are few aftermarket alternatives, if any. Customizing them means getting custom grips made or applying a skateboard-tape wrap. Pre-made holsters are harder to come by...

I’m no mod, but some of the replies here aren’t very high road... come on, fellas.

    Thoughts of life and Colt

At the risk of sounding like a Colt apologist, if it was new you should send them back and give them a chance to make it right. If it’s a pawn shop find and you bought it used, there’s no way you can know that it wasn’t tinkered with, and that’s not necessarily on Colt. Heck, I’d even try to...

    Current developments with caseless ammo?

Someone’s absolutely going to wildcat a stubby little autoloader cartridge out of those case head remnants, you watch

Stuck in purgatory - home gunsmithing

That so many people seem to leave their firearms unloaded, locked away separately, or even disassembled reinforces the same suspicion for me. I've had more than one conversation with non-enthusiasts where the topic of these ludicrous storage methods came up.

    Can’t remove 90two extractor pin

That's exactly what the pin looks like, thank you. I'm guessing if the pin is staked, my only option is to drill?

    Can’t remove 90two extractor pin

By the way, I should add that my pin appears completely straight, whereas the pins shown in the 92 videos are headed as you have described.

    Can’t remove 90two extractor pin

I’ve tapped it back in to make it operable again, so I don’t have a picture at the moment. But yes, I am tapping the pin on the underside under the slide) upwards. Pushing on either side of the extractor made no difference. When my new punch set arrives I’ll take another picture.

    Can’t remove 90two extractor pin

I’m trying to replace the extractor spring on a 90two and for the life of me, I can’t seem to drive out the extractor pin. I get it about 75% or more of the way out (tapping from the underside), but it seems like it’s staked on both sides. The 90two must not have been popular enough for there...

Court considers whether intoxicated may possess gun in own home

I’m pretty sure we tried that and decided it was a bad idea. In fact, it left an interesting scar on the constitution, too.

Background checks for ammo in California: Law abiding citizens are being denied

I’m certain a good number of them are like-minded individuals who aren’t going to allow pedantry and principles to prevent them from protecting themselves and their family.

.357 mag vs .38 sp: can police forensics tell the difference?

Speculation: the amount of powder reside, penetration depth, bullet weight and deformation could be clues to a forensic scientist.

    Life in Free America

You are correct, there is not, however there is a case of out-of-state funding supporting initiatives (see the funding sources behind I-1639 for an example). Because of how the state’s initiative system works, I consider that nearly as effective.

Mod 586: Price check? What should I know?

That’s a steal. Go for it. I bought one for $500 years ago.

New To .380: Seeking Input On Soft Shooting Load

You can go a bit lighter than minimum load in guns with a fixed barrel like a 1903 or a PPK. I got mine as low as 2.3 grain HP-38 behind 95 gr bullet for a very soft-shooting load, and it would eject but not load a new round in a short-recoil pistol. Your mileage will most definitely vary. Watch...

Rounds go off during house fire?

Yup, just trying to save someone the damage I caused with my mistake! I should also add that I misspoke, milk jugs are usually made of HDPE.
