Just sharing my experience with Diamondback Firearms

For a quick summary I really wish this company's QA and Customer Service were better. They have a great design I really like and niche with a super sub-compact 9mm. I understand they are new to the firearms industry, being a marine company. I just hope they aren't mixing the same workers for...

    Current manufacturer of Magsafe ammunition?

I was digging into my ammunition case and pulled out some Magsafe 38 Special SWAT and Defenders I had kept. I found a few Magsafe Defenders in .25 ACP as well. I recall the original owner had passed a while back however the ammunition kept being produced. Is there a current manufacturer of...

Hello Everyone, Thought I'd post my experience opening up and disassembling an NAA .22lr mini revolver to replace the hammer. ***This disassembly may void factory warranties, please refer to your firearm's manufacturer for additional information.*** Just to let everyone know first, the main...

    TCP trigger guard laser-Aimshot?

Hello all, I'm searching around for a trigger guard laser for my TCP. I'm trying to avoid crimson trace (costs as much as the firearm). I found LaserLyte and Aimshot. I've heard of LaserLyte before and know they have a good reputation. Has anybody used an Aimshot laser before?

    Fiocchi using Sig V-Crown bullets?

Just got a package of Fiocchi .380 "Shooting Dynamics" JHPs and they all look like V-Crown bullets from Sig Sauer. What do you think? Did the Sig V-Crown bullets bomb or are they popular enough to be loaded by other companies much like the Hornady XTP that Fiocchi [and so many others] does as...

    Taurus customer service?

I bought a new Taurus TCP yesterday and it's already broken. About 70 rounds into breaking it in later I was suddenly getting FTF's and FTE's until the slide ceased half-way out of battery. Boy it was stuck! Gunsmiths at the range couldn't figure it out, after a bit of a fight with it the gun...

.22lr bullets twist in the case

I carry an naa mini .22lr as a backup for work, I carry the 60 grain subsonics from Aguila but recently found that the bullets twist very easily in the case. Should I switch to another bullet or not worry about this?

    Bullets stick out of cylinder.

I've got an old Hopkins and Allen: Forehand DA revolver I like to shoot every now and then. Recently I purchased from Aguila 32 S&W-Long LRN bullets from and this is what I found when I loaded the cylinder. The gun will not seat the cylinder with these bullets loaded. Is it possible these...

    PDA gun holsters

Has anybody had experience with these? I like the idea of carrying a handgun on the outside of a belt but it remaining concealed inside a "PDA" carrier. How comfortable are they? Easy access to handgun?

Hopkins and Allen CO, Forehand D.A.: smokeless ok?

I recently acquired a 6 shot, Hopkins and Allen CO, Forehand D.A. chambered in .32 S&W (short and long). I am wondering if it would be safe to fire smokeless .32 S&W longs out of it, as I have a few laying around. It's serial number is: 189578. I am unsure if this is a 'black powder only'...

    RBCD acronym

I just picked up a box of their 9mm ammo. I'm curious what RBCD stands for. Not looking for a review of their ammo, just what the company name stands for (since I can't find it on the box or their website).

    Winchester bullet ID help

Found this on the ground at a police range. Anybody ID the bullet? Never seen it before, the "hollow" point has lead all the way up to the jacket's rim. I thought it was full of dirt, you can see my knife scratches in the lead.

    Proper recipe for chamber grease.

What's a good over-the-ball grease recipe to fill chambers with that doesn't: -blow all over when firing -melt when holstered on a warm day -remains intact over semi-long periods of time I usually use Crisco but I've used it enough to know it's only good for range visits.

PF-9 belt clip and a flashlight

This gun/clip combo is very intriguing but I worry about the retention of the clip...from the pictures I've seen I worry about moving around and the gun shifting constantly, in turn causing printing. Anybody use the thing? I would like to put a small light on my pf-9 as well. Anybody...

    Mixing filler with the powder

I shoot light loads out of my 1851 Navy (10-15 grains), usually I use 10 grains of farina on top to fill in the gap between the powder and ball/conical. Anybody ever try just mixing the filler right into the powder? Lit off a small pile of powder mixed with farina, lit up just fine..not...

In light of the ammo shortage...

I've found myself reverting back to using black powder firearms on most range trips. I never thought this would become an issue...but with my current budget I just don't have the money to practice with smokeless powder weapons. $35 that would be for a 50 round box of 45 auto can get me a can...
