    No more Powder

OMG ... local, local, local. I have to drive 65 miles just to stare at a shelf with one can of N320 and another can of Enforcer. That's how it is for me down here.

    No more Powder

I'm warming to the idea, yes. I've been building parts for my presses myself these days to make up for the lack of movement at RCBS.

    American Reloading

Yeah, but you have to understand ... my program would scan their website every 60 seconds. I would have an order in within 3 minutes of it showing on the website. That type of automation can expose some holes in a dealer's processes.

    No more Powder

@LiveLife is spot on. There's no problem getting VihtaVouri or Hodgdon; some minor limits on what Accurate and Winchester can be found; IMR, Ramshot, Shooter's World are maybe tighter still. But Alliant has been ridiculous. People are just going to move over to what they can get. And they...

    American Reloading

I used to have a similar problem with MidSouthShootersSupply ... allowing orders for stuff they didn't have. I had written a program back in 2009 to search for primers. When they would pop up at MidSouth, I would place an order and it would take my payment and all. The problem was, when they...

    Republic Reloading

Republic Ammunition also have the White River Energetics primers in SP, LP, and LR. I've ordered from them twice this year and it was just fine. If that's the company you're talking about. I don't get anything back for RepublicReloading.com.

Where are Reloading Components Available/On Sale (Not a Discussion Thread, Link Required)

Free HAZ at NatchezSS today and tomorrow 'til midnight with code FH240509. Natchez I backfilled IMR4895 and AA2520 ... both of which have recently shown back up at retailers.

Hodgdon Powder acquires RCBS from Vista Outdoor

I'm still hard into RCBS with two Ammomaster Auto's. I can swap one to single stage as needed. Most of my die sets are RCBS. I've got spare die plates and just about every shell plate I'd ever need. I'm hoping to see more advancements with their bullet feeders, case feeders, etc. When I...

    Powder preservation

To expand on prior notes, Argon is inert and in the noble gas column obviously. It's also readily available at welding gas suppliers. It's primarily used by TIG welders.

    Which current crono/radar

I was really interested in that TBC. Then they just never appeared. There were Youtube reviews that seemed pretty positive, then they just never hit the distribution channel. It's definitely bigger than the Garmin or new LX. More along the lines of the anticipated VelociRadar from Caldwell.

What reloading components have you overbought?

Yeah, the Barnes Originals in 220 and 250gr have shown back up at Midway ... I grabbed some. I also got some of the Fury 220's to try out. It's not totally bleak for the 348 yet.

What reloading components have you overbought?

I'm in the too much powder boat. I have 1lb of just about everything I'd ever need to experiment ... 64 different types not counting the crossovers like H110/296. Though I have good quantities of what I shoot ... N320, N105, Green Dot, 3031, AR-Comp. I used to think I had too many primers. I...

    What Happened to this Brass?

Reloaders that have to deal with this issue in volume will employ a roll sizer to fix it. I think DoubleAlpha sells one ... expensive.

Primers at the local Academy sports

Best I've found lately is OutdoorLimited for Remington 1-1/2's at $65/k. I've not bought from them, so I'm not sure how exorbitant their HAZ and shipping is.

    Powder for Multiple Cartridges

A nice gentle load then. :) Of the powder you can actually buy today, I would think Power Pistol would put him in that zone. Might be at the top of the pressure limit ... but I'll bet that Buffalo Bore ammo is as well.

Gun powder. It's a beautiful sight to see.

Wow ... a real can of Blue Dot on a shelf. Plus IMR 4198 and 8208XBR. I figured those would never be seen again.

Gun powder. It's a beautiful sight to see.

Maybe I just live in a bad spot, but I have to drive a minimum of 35 miles to find a shop that stocks powder. And I don't count Academy because their shelves have been bare here for ages. Sportsmans in Lady Lake, FL is about my best shot. If someone in the Orlando area knows better, I'm all ears.

45 Colt Loads and Position Sensitivity

The 45 Colt is the poster child for Trail Boss ... which, itself, is now the Bitcoin of the smokeless powder world, trading at heretofore unimagined levels on GunBroker.
