Honady Critical Defense 90 gr is a good solid round for the 380. I also like PDX1 in the 380. I have seen some of those expand to some pretty amazing dimensions, while still retaining much of their weight. Hydra Shoks are always good.
I purchased a Gen 3 Glock 19 RTF2 earlier this year and made the same observation. Mine however has a strange purpleish hue to it that seems to dry out easily even after oiling.
Yes as I stated, the new, in the box weapons are actually selling around 540.00, w/o night sights, and the used, for around 450- 480.00. I feel this is a fair price in contrast to the workmanship. Couldn't be happier with mine, she stays in my front pants pocket daily now.
150 more 95 gr. remington FMJ's rounds downrange today, no problems whatsoever, I am still utterly amazed at the accuracy that one can achieve with this little pistol. I paid 475.00 USD for the weapon, with two magazines. Please dont take my critique of some of the issues as "not a great gun." I...
100 rounds Remington 95 gr. FMJ
I experienced one failure to eject due to a squib load. barely went pop.
I experienced 5 Premature slide locks, this as I later discovered is due to the rounds in the magazine contacting the slide lock lever. I dont consider this to be of great concern, as...
Just to inform you XR1200, the RIA is a fantastic pistol, and by the way the STI Spartan is in actuality one of those Cheaply made Filipino gun as well! :)
These are always rediculous questions. Look at it this way. How effective would it be in changing your plans in assuting me for the night, if I stuck a piece of 1/4" Rebar through your sternum...... Stop watching movies, and reading speculative gun magazines, or goofy "Street reports". Gunshots...
I own one and love it. Most of the rumors you hear are just that. The older ones had issues, the newer ones do not. Bottom line. Mine eats anything I feed it. It is one of the simplest designs possible on a pistol platform...... Very accurate, and very reliable. buy a new frame style and it...
I owned a RAMI for years before trading it a while back. Just bought a new one, as I missed the little guy so much. One of the most straight forward, reliable little pistols on the market.
I have owned both, and just recently purchaced another CZ 2075 RAMI. I can tell you that they are both wonderful pistols. The RAMI takes up a bit less space in a pack or holster. The P239 is a larger pistol overall, and therefore puts it in a slightly different class than the RAMI. For me there...
This is a legitimate complaint, from a legitimate ex owner. Great post! I have no problem with someone admiting that the P250's trigger is not for everyone. But in regards to it being unreliable, thats just garbage. I love my SP2022 as well, and I'm sure you will too!
I'll give you a response from someone that owns both. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the P250. It had some initial issues, it is a Sig and they have been worked out. Never a single hiccup with mine, it eats whatever I feed it without complaint. Very accurate, overbuilt and sturdy as...
