Considering my Glock 22 for EDC

Yep always hated the G19 for that reason.. Course easily rectified.

Today, $400 is considered cheap for 'em.

Why? Ive owned multiples of both and didn't think the SKS was worth the $69 I paid back int he day. Course now-a-days I only own one AK and its an imposter. (5.56x45 :what: )

Glock 19 with red dot sight questions

Got to agree If I had a "do over" I would go the milled route. I bought a MOS as soon as they hit the shelves.. I didn't have any issues with the plates themselves. However, the screws needed to be filed down to fit properly. (RMR & DPP). No clue if they have rectified that as its been...

Pistol light out past the muzzle?

Decades ago we were all walking around with mag lights. You can light up an entire room at low and ready now-a-days. Since my SOP for things that go bump in the night involves, opening gates, barns, checking livestock, etc.. WML's are the best thing since sliced bread in my casa. OP, it will...

Stopped Cleaning your Gun! I did - You Too?

That's the answer I like to know on my guns.. While there is a higher probability with a filthy gun, a clean gun can malfunction too. I know when the slide starts to slow on guns A, B, C while guns D, E, F keep on chugging.. etc. That said, I dislike getting getting residue on my...

Hypothetically what would be your choice: Uzi in 9mm w/ 16 Mags or Winchester Lever Action in 45/70 w/ 100 rounds of ammo?

Don’t know anyone in your area with an uzi you could try?? Squeezing the trigger on those clunky bricks is quite a let down after drooling over glossy images.

    did longmire get it wrong

While my tongue in cheek comment was more a jab at Glock. I gave up on deciphering their naming a long time ago.. you could be correct. I’ve never read the books nor watched the show.

    did longmire get it wrong

To be fair, a Glock 45 is a 17 size frame with a 19 slide. :neener:

DAO Only Hammer-fired Pistol other than Sig P250??

Yes it is second strike or 100 strike capable. However, you lose the pretensioned hammer pull so it is slightly heavier.

DAO Only Hammer-fired Pistol other than Sig P250??

My EDC is a P2SK LEM. So I know they exist. 😉

    Auto_loader with hammer Question

If the picture taker is anything like me, it’s because I just unloaded it. Or verified it wasn’t loaded. That leaves the Hammer back and safety off. If it’s a picture of one of my guns in a holster. It’s ready to Rock n Roll.

Heading to the range today with what used to be "cheap" guns.

While you're feeling nostalgic, pull up an inflation calculator and punch in your info. A few bucks spread over many decades isnt exactly a good investment.

ID this optic - looks odd or backward to me

Handguard appears to slope down too.. something is off about the pic, aside from the backwards scope.
