    What is this odd thing?

I found it in an old box of miscellaneous mags, but I have no idea what it is. It almost looks like it is meant to fit in the mag well of a rifle, but I’m not sure. I thought maybe one of you super-smart guys here might know. Any info appreciated.

Anyone care to venture a guess as to the vintage of this shotgun ammo? I'm wondering if it's still safe to shoot. (Though I'm not sure what I'd use 20 ga buckshot for.)

MAC SSSW Stinger .22 Pen Gun Question

Had an interesting question recently about my MAC SSSW Stinger .22 Pen Gun: “Why doesn’t it have the sear/safety pin?” Which made me wonder if that sear/safety pin was a modification or addition to the manufacture of these little guns at some point in their production run. What's better for long term ammo storage?

Metal GI type ammo cans? Or the original "factory" cardboard cases (for case lots) of ammo. I'm thinking this could be for a storage time frame of maybe 5 to 10 years. Ammo is reasonably modern stuff, various (common) calibers. Storage location is Southwest USA, fairly dry climate, but the...

I have a couple of M1 .30 caliber carbine stocks, that I have kept as “spares“ for years. But internally, with respect to the cut-outs in...
