    AR aluminum prototype stock?

It's actually quite light, very. Its hollow and doesn't seem to be a full length stock. I don't know what to think about it. They are in varying stages of completeness, almost like they were ordered and got canceled.. They are pretty old and corroded so I doubt they have any value except scrap...

    General purpose 22LR Rifle

I haven't used much other than a 597, 10/22, and marlin 60 and varients. But In my experience the accuracy of the marlin 60 far surpasses the others. Though after about 100 rounds they can get pretty dirty and stop cycling at all. However the 10/22 is far looser internally and will keep firing...

Id just look for a used '06 and if you don't find one go to http://7.62x54r.net/ and read up for a while on nagants. If your gonna range shoot in any quantity your gonna spend more on ammo than the gun, seeing as how you have a m1 garand you probably understand how spendy '06 is. 7.62x54r in...

    Next Purchase

I've seen lots of 30-06 bolt action rifles going for 200-300 lately. Guns that normally cost 500-600 in any other caliber and dirt cheap in '06. I just bought a savage 110 '06 for 230$ with a scope setup and a box of ammo. If your really strapped for cash and can't afford anything modern a...

    "Ruger 10/22 not accurate"

A stock 10/22 from my experience is acceptably accurate for average less than 100yrds shooting. But it doesn't have anything on marlins. Marlins out of the box are crazy accurate, The ones ive shot are dime at 25yrds and about 1 1/2 in or tighter at 100. My 10/22 prior to mods was quarter at...

    Folding stock 10/22

I have a slight problem, I have a 10/22 with a butler creek stock. I was looking at having my barrel threaded and shortened to 16.5" The overall length right now is 27 1/4in folded and the barrel is 18.5 i think. It does go by the folded length right? If not Its legally a sbr correct?

    The Akins Accelerator is back!

Seems like alot of money to spray ammo... How does it work? is it just a really light trigger with a stock slightly better for bump firing? I suppose people will buy this but Ill still take an accurate single shot over inaccurate spraying. Even for messing around.

How free do you want to be poll

I voted for Limited gun control, even though criminals can get guns regardless, having a background check helps prevent them from buying from reputable dealers and misuseing the firearm to do harm which may reflect back to the honest shop owner. I also believe that there should be mandatory...

Gun manufacturing up 82% in Montana for the past year.

That's pretty neat, I don't know how many jobs will be produced due to the skill level needed. Regardless, more guns being made is good. Especially for the MT residents who will have quality goods in state.

    Holes in my 1903

I honestly never put any thought into it until now but my 1903 has alot of holes in it, some filled with screws some not. It is sporterized so I suspect some of it isn't stock. First off there are 4 hole for a scope mount on top which i am using 3 of. Next there is one on the right of the...

    Your military rifle's past…

Guns don't kill people. People may use them to, But that could apply to anything. Don't like it? Sell it, there are tons of other people who don't mind what it WAS used for. Not to mention its hard to say a gun kills... think about it. (mosin view) A person pulls the trigger, the trigger...
