    Glock 27

I just recently got back to the forum and picked up a 27 in trade for an M&P9c. I'm really liking the .40 and have a G22 to go with it. Mine came with Glocks +1 extension on the mags so I get 10 rounds but still very easy to carry and conceal as well as shoot...congrats on the new pistola.

    AK74

just be careful with the Century Tantal, he had some issues with his and I believe got it taken care of but Century gave him a real hard time over it. The Interarms are real nice and the $550 price tag make it even better, and it's not Century.

    AK74

Sebastian said about the dumbest thing he could have with that statement. Do not follow this advice. Here are a few AK's that are not Arsenals and don't cost $800 http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct964.aspx expansive of the 3 This is the one I recommend...

I want to hear from the 1911 guys?

I have a Taurus and love it. This is my 2nd one and this time I went stainless which is much nicer than the blued as far as Taurus goes. Just my opinion but a 1911 is never any other caliber than 45 ACP, forget that 9mm ****, that is why Glocks were made get the 45 and be happy.

    recommend me a .45acp gents

It depends on if you want a 1911 or not. I was in the same situation with the same guns minus the Armscor and I went with the Taurus, of which will be my 2nd one and you can't go wrong with it. People can say what they want about the company but lots of people get the PT1911, this go around I...

    Remington UMC 40 s&w 180 grain JHP

I haven't tested the .40 but have with the 9 a bit and I found it doesn't expand very well. I was shooting into wet phonebooks though so it's not exactly scientific

Poll: What is your favorite handgun manufacturer?

I really think there are good choices in most of the list but I picked HK cause if I only could have 1 gun it would be an HK USP45 compact.

    Help with CCW Choice?

I would go with the LCR and for reloads I use speed strips instead of the round loaders cause they lay flat in a pocket and work better with small revolvers like the LCR, sometimes the round loaders contact the grip and make it harder to load the cylinders.

    Frustraited with holster companies

Thanks sloman, I would like to add that he is an awesome guy, waited very patiently a few extra days for the holster cause I was sick and he also prepaid me for it which is almost unheard of these days and not normally how I do it but it is appreciated. Tom thanks again be safe and Happy New Year!

just my opinion, you should never reblue a gun of that age. Let it show 100 year wear marks, it 100 years old.

    Moon Clip question. Taurus 905.

Possibly the moonclips get in the way and hit the grips going in and coming out of the small revolver just like most speed loaders do on j-frame smiths and sp101s, and if he needed a reload the moonclip could get caught and not allow it. But here's the deal with that...practice he shouldn't be...

    Opinions on affordable revolvers.

If you like S&W get something from the 50's -90's models 19,27,28,65,66,581,586,681,686 there are others but I can't think right now. They come in snubs on up to 8". First handgun: Springfield XD vs Glock 17

You can't go wrong with either one, it's personal preference as to what feels better to you. I love the way the XD feels points shoots and all but Glock is an awesome gun and you can never go wrong with one unless you don't like the "bulkier" grip. I don't have a problem with them and I'm not...

    Powder in the thrower question

Yea somehow I forgot it was in there. It's in my spare room so it's temp control but I don't have any in the disk only in the red plastic "hopper". I think I'll just throw it out and clean the press. Thanks guys.

    Powder in the thrower question

How long will the powder be ok for in a Lee1000? I have not loaded for about 3 months and the powder has just been in the funnel the whole time. Should I just throw it out and start fresh? It's not that much but there is about 100 rounds of 9mm worth in there.
