JShirley-Thanks for clearing that up.:) . I personally like knives and would rather have one along,if I can't have a handgun, but understand the issue of carrying something you might never need. I still suggest a Victorinox Swisstool and an Endura.
I went whole hog into the matter. Bought a Dillon 650 I load all my .38,.45 and .223 on it. I find it works better than anything else I've tried. YMMV.
I did mine by getting a set of factory Speed-six grips, fit them onto the sec six and traced the outline onto the frame. I removed very little with a hacksaw and ground it close with a bench grinder, then dressed up with a file and sandpaper. The trick is to not remove too much. Remember that the...
Where I have to go shooting (county range) I never go alone. I always have a 'witness' due to past problems with range nazis. Sad to say the majority of leo's I run into have a bully mentality and operate as if they were above the law. I only remember one leo I met in the last ten years that...
Handguns:
Ruger MKII 5 1/2 bull ss
Ruger GP100 6" barrel ss
Ruger SP101 2 1/4 barrel dao
Rifles:
Marlin 39A
AR-15 Probably DPMS dissipator
Shotgun:
Mossberg 500AT w/ extra sporting barrel
I'm not a big rifle or shotgun kinda guy, think I'd rather add on a couple more handguns.
I have a Benchmade CSK in D2 and I'm quite pleased with it. Kershaw also makes the Outcast a big chopper in D2. Spyderco Makes a Military model in D2 as well.

Elm Creek Remember we gotta be PC,can't frighten the sheeple with that deadly spear. Besides the multiple tines give you a better chance of snagging that razor-toed bugger.
In another forum I suggested a giant size glue trap worn like a backpack, with quick release straps .When the...
Since the cat's gonna attack from behind the best thing would be to wear a big pack that covers up your back and head. For the ultra-light enthusiasts they could strap on an aluminum grate. If it didn't save 'em that cat could at least grill them. Of course you could just use a pitch fork as a...
Don't have numbers drills, going to have to try to assemble my small lathe. Easy to run off a few until I get the right diameter. Appreciate the thought.:)

Trying to fix a Winchester 250 lever-action .22 rifle. At some time in the past someone replaced the pin that holds the trigger assembly into the receiver with a piece of fiberglass rod. I'd like to replace it ,but need the dimensions. I suspect the rod being a single diameter is binding the...
My advice is to consider buying a Dillon 550,it's a progressive machine. Initial cost is probably more than you would like, but it's a good investment. It will reload ammo quickly and accurately. You can save a little by buying Lee dies (it's what I use on my 650) and do a lot of comparison...
Gp100man -Thanks for the reply, I put in the 10 lb trigger spring and the 9 lb hammer spring. Unbelievably smooth now. Will have to check for proper ignition at the range prior to testing.
Thanks

In my stuff I found some Wilson combat springs for a Ruger Super Redhawk. The question is, will these springs work in a GP-100? I've read somewhere that they would ,but I'm hoping I can get a response from someone who knows.
Thanks

None of the above. Ruger GP100 stainless six-inch barrel. Use .38 spl's for small game. Use hard-cast .357's for jaguars, tapirs, caimans, and 110 foot man-eatin' anaconda's :p. I'll hang onto the spear for poking at stuff I don't want to get close to,or taking out the jaguars. It worked for Sasha...
