There are the adherents of the "through-and-through" philosophy of bullet performance and they even advocate FMJ in 9mm, .40 S&W, and 45 ACP. But if you're not one of those people - it really doesn't make sense to use FMJ in 380.
When the top-performing 380 JHP bullets work, they're penetrating...
In the Lucky Gunner tests the .380 round that had the best and most consistent penetration was the 88 grain - Remington HTP. Average penetration was 16.9" The most shallow penetrating bullet penetrated 15.9" and the deepest penetrating bullet was 17.4"
All 5 bullets had the exact same level of...
I'm coming up on my 40 year anniversary with the first gun I ever bought - an HK P7M8, purchased in 1985.
Shot from straight out of the box with NEVER a single problem.
NEVER
Not one problem.
I have owned my HK P7M8 since 1985 and never had a jam, failure to feed, stove pipe, failure to...
Here are my Glocks all gooped up on gop.
Yes they did fire
No -there were no malfunctions.
I've fired them dry, wet, and all gooped up on gop, and they haven't failed.
I think lubrication is probably less critical for Glocks than Glock owners would like to believe.
The problem that I encountered with most holsters when used in the back pocket was that even "Back Pocket" holsters showed the butt of the pistol. I wear business casual most of the time, and I can't have a gun showing.
I pocket carry a Rohrbaugh R9 in my front right pocket. I also carry a...
It seems like the goal of 30 SC was to meet similar ballistics to 9mm but be able to fit 2 more rounds in roughly the same space. I live in a state that limits capacity to 10 rounds anyway. If there was a 30 SC pocket pistol out there that increased the capacity over 9mm from 6 to 8 rounds...
I purchased the Taurus Millennium G2 PT111 in 2016 as a cheap gun to throw in a GHB. I wish I had purchased the SD9VE. I've never had a malfunction with the PT111, but I don't shoot it much. On some of the PT111, G2c and G3c pistols, the magazine catch falls out - dropping the magazine. It...
With most floor plates you have to depress the retaining part, but many of the Kahr magazine plates can be removed just by the floor plate being pushed forward - so that retaining button is not really retaining the plate. It happens much more easily with an unloaded magazine than when the...
I think their greatest shortcoming is the retaining button for the floor plates of their magazines. Hopefully they've changed that.
I like the Kahr triggers. I would rather have this new Kahr double-stack than the SIG SAUER P365. I'd rather have a full-sized Kahr double-stack than a Glock 17.
Beryllium bronze has excellent tensile strength - up to 200,000 psi. The whole thing is tiny but the backend is a broad anvil shape that can withstand being struck but the pin in the front is not going to stand up to being hammered against steel.
I'd check on the forum. Eric Rohrbaugh checks in on the forum every once in a while and he knows who has spare parts:

Rats didn’t Spread the Plague, Gerbils did
I knew a guy in a Chicago neighborhood who had his grandfather's old Marlin 39A chambered in 22 Short and it was perfect for quietly taking out rats in the alley and gangway. Even when Chicago expanded its ShotSpotter network, he never had an issue.
