    1903-A3 sights

I have a sporterized 1903-A3, with an original rear peep sight reinstalled. Has anyone mounted a long eye relief scope or reflex sight on one of these? I can find rail mounts for conventional scopes, and forward rails for other rifles.

Which .380 pocket pistol under $600 is best and why?

Which .380 pocket pistol. . . I've always liked single-action, so that limits my choices. I'll have to try the SIG P238 some time, since I have a Llama .380. I wouldn't use either as a pocket pistol since a holster works better to keep them upright and the grip in the right place. The Llama was...

Advice on neglected Colt Series 70 1911 Government

    Ruger MKIII 22/45 Problems/Help

Phone Case that Fits Thick Belts

I agree with bdubz0r, the 5.11 Tactical case has been a great phone pouch for me. Cases with clips always seem to get hooked, caught, or pulled off on something. This one wears like iron, and carries close. Sometimes it takes two hands to close the buckle, but I carry it on the left (clumsy) side.

Please tell me I'm not the only one with a daily carry back pack.....

I carry a Tactical Tailor 3-day pack as a briefcase/commuting bag. I got tired of the laptop bag or briefcase stretching out my elbow. Usually it carries a few tools for a particular job, work notebooks, laptop, books for the bus ride, eyeglasses, small binos, first aid, lunch, and so on. If I...

    Shot Myself/ Negligent Discharge

Shot Myself/Negligent Discharge Trent #125 has the right idea. In our classes we teach students to confirm the empty chamber with their finger. None of us has X-ray vision to see through the side of the chamber, and looking at the breech might not work if someone is using dark laquered steel...
