    25-5

Congrats on the new gun!! I'm sure you already know this, but tension should be released from the mainsping before removing the sideplate. With the sideplate removed, the frame pins are only supported on one side. Joe

It really depends on how smooth you barrel is. I've found that 1000 fps is about the limit in my guns. Joe

I bought 3, 8 rounders for a 1911, several years ago. The springs seem weak(loads really easy), but they have worked quite well for many thousands of rounds. Lips are still correct, and the blue steel body is has never deformed or tarnished. For the $8 each, I paid, they have turned out to...

    federal auto match 22 ammo

I really like Federal Auto Match. Works great and is quite accurate. I have the local indoor range order it for me a couple cases at a time. He gets it from any one of several ammo suppiers. IIRC... last time I bought, it was around $11 per box. Joe

    1911 22. Conversion units

I've had a Ciener kit mounted on a dedicated alloy frame for several years(15+). I easily got my $200 purchase price worth of fun out of it the first year. It's quite accurate and reliable, as long as you clean it every 200 rounds or so. Good Luck... Joe

    Rock chucker primer catcher improvements?

Honestly... I gave away my RCBS and bought a Lee Classic. Reason #1 was the RCBS spent primer issue. Life's too short to mess with poor design. Joe
