I have a well-used ex-IDF 228. A few thousand rounds in and it's still ticking...no spares needed. I did put a set of G10 grips on it, however. The only issue is it doesn't seem to like to feed steel or aluminum cases.
I love my Ruger Ranch in .300 BLK. Inch groups at 100, using factory Super ammo. Pleasure to shoot...go for it at that price.
Add a bipod, inexpensive scope, open up the mag release, and get a few more mags and you're good-to-go.
Zero'd a new scope on my Ruger ranch in .300 BLK and did my finger exercises with my 7.62x38R Nagant revolver. One was accurate, the other not so much.
The advantage for the .350 is the states that require a straight-walled cartridge. Beyond that, either can do the job effectively...within their wheel-house.
I keep track of what I shoot in my carry gun. I only give the rest a quick visual scan to determine if I need to take more out of deep storage for shelf filler.
That's all I carry in my 43X. Never a problem with HSTs.
"Try another mag" or two is the best suggestion. Even though I'm partial to the Glock and rejected the Sig, I can't imagine a 365 not functioning with HSTs.
