Does anyone know if Ken Lunde's site is gone for good? I was trying to look up some pics he took at the last shot show and can't get the pics to show up.
Thanks for any info.
Well I bought one of the Mossberg ATR's in .270 Win. I figure it can go with lightweight bullets or heavier bullets. It only cost me $240 so I can use the rest of my stash to buy good glass for it.
Heck if the rifle turns out to be a dud then I can always use it as a spare jack handle.
I don't know much about Wisconsin whitetails. The only time I spent in WI was in Madison and the only whitetails I saw were the college girls running around half naked in Camp Randall stadium.
Let me clarify myself a little. I have a 30-30 winchester that works wonderfully in the brush of East Tennessee. I would primarily be using this as a varmint rifle and maybe as a medium game rifle. Tennessee had the law that big game had to use .24 and larger but that law was revoked this year...
A coworker of mine has about 170 acres of land with horses. His coyote problem has gotten worse and would like a couple of us to come help him "thin the herd".
I know that AR-15's seem to be a favorite but I can't justify $700+ for a poodle shooter. What kind of rifle would you get that...
I have one from thebeltman and it's great for a thicker everyday belt. I also bought a kydex insert belt from looper leather and it's great for a dressier type belt.
I highly endorse both of these makers.
What kind of situation are you talking about? Home defense, plinking, competition, long range hairless mole hunting? :D
I prefer the .45ACP unless I'm hunting buffaloes with an atlatl.
I love my shotgun because.....it's a great way to relieve stress
The one thing about my shotgun technique I most want to improve is....dunno since I just started shooting long guns
The best experience I have ever had while shooting my shotgun is.... teaching my brother in law about...
Unless you are strapped for cash I think it would make an excellent birthday/Christmas gift. I've given revolvers as gifts to family in the past and I know they are enjoyed much more since they were gifts.
But $250 is a fair price.
Just a suggestion if you don't know it...
Before you sign it make a bunch of photocopies. Sign and mail those. Never sign the original. File it someplace safe so you can make more copies later if needed. Your copies must be signed in ink.
I hope you're right about the "not many kinks" thing. I'm still holding fast to my mantra of not buying a gun within 6 months of it arriving on the market.
