I can't even tell what this is trying to say. It seems very dodgy to me.

    .327 Guns Dirt Cheap

I'm a little curious, about the cylinder dimensions. Does anyone know if taurus or ruger use a shorter cylinder for their .327 magnums?

    new caliber for concealed carry

Really? I did not know that. Now that I looked a few more seconds into it you are correct. I would like to see a thin pistol in the vbr caliber too.

    new caliber for concealed carry

I've read about the 7.92 vbr and I was intrigued by it. It's a lot like a 9x23 winchester only on a smaller scale, if they can make a 1911 handle the winchester round they ought to be able to make a more compact version with the vbr round. Edit: there is no such thing as a .30 caliber for...

"you can shoot 357s out of that 38 special"

The was you tell it is rather vague. You said the person in front of you asked for a .38 snubby. Was he pointing at a specific revolver? Did the revolver actually say .38 special on it?

    .44 Special in a .45 Long Colt?

It's somewhat understandable that someone could mistakenly chamber a .44 special in a .45 colt since they both have the same rim diameter.

    Obama & the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine & Brass

Oh, we definitely wouldn't want this thread to get political now. I think the spent brass thing is a little bit nick-picking, but I'm not sure why congress has anything to say about that part in the first place, the military can take care of spent brass themselves.

    Obama & the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine & Brass

I noticed the article mention CDC funding, I haven't heard of any junk science studies by the CDC concerning gun violence.

    Support for Resistance fighters

I should perhaps clarify my position. I don't know much about the situation in Syria, only they know what is going on right now. I do not think it's a good idea for the United States to arm anyone as part of a "humanitarian mission". I do however believe that if there are people in this country...

    Support for Resistance fighters

I was watching the news the other day and I heard something about McCain advocating the United States arming the resistance fighters in Syria. I was thinking about what it would be like if we ourselves could do this. I mean something like a nationally organized group sponsoring the shipment and...

Any sources I can find about .38 super popularity in Mexico don't mention Mexico. They do say that it is very popular in latin america.

FMJ vs JHP for self defense

I don't know of a single handgun cartridge and bullet combination that is capable of killing instantly in one shot on every occasion. I don't know the details specifically, for all I know it could have been dark and skunks are mostly black. One or more of those shots could have missed.

FMJ vs JHP for self defense

I will be so daring as to say that .45 230 grain fmj bullets are most certainly no more lethal than a pink mouse. I will also say(sarcasm aside) that there isn't much of a difference in your choice of caliber or bullet construction aside from .90 caliber handguns and styrofoam bullets.

FMJ vs JHP for self defense

Not as far as I can tell. Temporary cavities can only be estimated, permanent can be accurately measured.

FMJ vs JHP for self defense

I believe you said wounds, not temp cav in your earlier post.
