missouri bullets make some 240 gr that will shoot out of the 1911 and they're actually marketed as pin busters.

I have a crossbreed and an hbe holster.I think the crossbreed may be a little quicker on the draw,but to me the hbe is more comfortable.The xd is a little thick for me and much prefer carrying my cz or 1911. I have a thin build and ymmv.

I have an apv on my cz mach2,a weaver 2x7 on my cz 22lr fullstock and a clearidge on my winchester wildcat.For the money,the mueller is my favorite.

Clearidge is another good scope for the money.I have pentax,weaver,nikon,simmons,etc.The pentax is the nicest with the nikon in a dead heat.I have a leupold rifleman than isn't near as nice as my mueller apv.
