I am going to buy a S&W 500. It will NOT be used as a carry gun. I know that the longer the barrel, the greater velocity and accuracy. What about balance? Will the long barrel limit accuracy because of the front-end-weight? What are the advantages and disadvantages of a very short (4")...
I believe that if you carry, you should always have at least one revolver with you, (backup J Frame or even a NAA Pug). Semi-autos can jam. For most of us, that would mean carrying 2 guns. Discussion please?
