I didn't see a real answer to this in the search, since I'm not keeping real black powder, but keeping a small amount of Pyrodex P powder. I recently inherited a couple of BP pistols and 3 cans of Pyrodex P powder. I was wondering if this is safe to keep in a gun safe with a heater-style...
Done. I believe she has already said she would sign it, that's why it almost passed, they were sure it would go into law so it gained a lot of traction. So we are screwed if one hits her desk.
Gun show in ABQ this weekend, crowd about at pre-panic levels. ARs around 1k-1200, magazine vendors prices up about $10 each(and less of a crowd at their tables too). little bit of ammo available, but nowhere near normal. New pistols at about normal prices, and the same old selection of...
I would like to know as well, as I just applied for my C&R.
However, from what I see, these laws apply to private->private or Dealer->private transactions. C&R's are transfers from one FFL to another so would still be exempt from the dealer/NICS requirements.

.303 British is hard to find
- Then why does every LGS and sporting goods store within 100 miles of me not only carry it, but usually in...
I believe NM requires that the other state have similar laws to qualify for an agreement. What has likely happened is an anti-gunner has realized that no two states have the exact same laws, and is using that as a basis on cancelling the agreements right and left. Its probably a reaction to our...
Having just moved to NM from TN a little over a year ago I can tell you this is why:
1. NM is still very much controlled by Democrats. I'm betting this is more politics-related than law-related.
2. Unlike TN, the NM gun community is very fragmented, there is no main forum for them to go...
Or the guys yapping/texting on the cell phone in the middle of the isle blocking the passage. Or the guys who can't keep the barrels/stocks on their slung rifles vertical making everyone nearby constantly duck out of the way every time they move. Stroller nazis are nothing, at show a while back...
