Are there, and if there are, what are the alternatives to the Crimson Trace grip type Laser Sites? This is a kind of an expensive route. I can't help considering how far this expense could go toward another firearm :o . I am especially interested laser sites for a S&W model 60, Ruger P90 .45...
I'm noticing the references to 2'nd Generation, 3'rd Generation etc. with Colt single action Army revolvers. What does this refer to? Is it some revision level based on date of manufacture?

I'm wondering if I should attempt to locate a vintage forestock to fix it. The chip is about 2 inches long. I wouldn't try to replace it unless I could find an original part.

Where the barrel enters the receiver the word "FULL" is stamped and the Serial Number on the receiver is U126
