I left a comment disagreeing with his "1911 sucks" video and he blocked me and called me a <deleted>. That just killed off any respect I had for him, some professional.
I hear that criminals are wearing body armor more and more toady. If you ever come up against someone wearing a vest a pistol or shotgun might not cut it. Do you ever worry about this?
Kind of a stupid thought I know but I noticed that certain firearms (depending on age and make) deliver higher velocities than other rifles of the same type, so I was wondering is there a way to improve or modify a firearm so it delivers higher velocities.
The pumas and rossis look nice but the 500 dollar and under price tag worries me, after all you get what you pay for. The Winchesters don't seem to be as smooth as the others and I don't care for the manual saftey behind the reciever, so if I was looking into an 1892 trapper saddle ring carbine...
I read an article that said Clint Smith only carries "High quality ball" ammo in his 1911 and I have to say I was a little suprised I know the 45 auto is a beast of a round and ball should easily get the job done but hey if you can do better with HPs why not load HPs and my dad who was a...
One of my favorite movies and one of my favorite movie guns I'd love to have a replica but I can't seem to find a maker that offers it. does anyone have any info on replica offerings?
I read about this somewhere ( I don't remember where unfortunately ) but apparently theres a heat treatment process that you can have done to a pistol that strengthens the steel and makes the gun capable of handling Heavy loads does anyone know more about this.
I started a thread a few weeks ago on what people think of the kimber solo carry and it seems like they had nothing but complaints about the gun. I love the looks of the gun It definitley has better lines for carry then the kahr does but I do have noticed a few improvements that kimber should...
I love powerful guns and while I know the 45 acp is more than enough power, when you read about criminals today wearing body armor and taking other precautions against retaliation you want to have a little bit more bang for your buck. So just out of curiosity has anyone ever used 45 super for...
The 10mm is a high velocity round that fires a 40 cal bullet at very high speeds. while the 45 fires a big 45 caliber bullet at a slow speed but still hits very hard. Both seem to be at the opposite ends of what makes up good stopping power, small and fast vs big and slow. Which one do you think...
I was looking at gemini customs website and saw that they offered porting. Interesting idea but one instructor told me that porting a revolver is not a good idea because of the increased blast flash and reduction in muzzel velocity is any of this true or is porting worth it.
