I was just stating that I must be an odd-ball, because I have no desire for a 1911. :confused: I'm not saying theyre bad guns.. they must be great. Geez

I find them ugly.. I even think a Glock is a better looking gun.. and I dont like grip safeties.. hell i dont like any safeties on a pistol. And they dont aim well for me.. when I bring them up, the front sight is naturally low, and i have to tilt the front up just to see the front sight.

is the S&W 64 2" barrel the same as a 642? The picture in their catalog shows an exposed hammer revolver. .and it reads S&W 64 2" if I do a google image search of the 642, its a non-exposed hammer.. which leads me to believe they are different guns..

Which should I buy? The only pistol I have so far is a Makarov.. this will be mostly just for range use, but for occasional carry as well.

I cleaned my carry gun the other day, and I just sat down at my desk, pulled out my keyboard tray underneath, and what do I see.. my recoil spring :eek: but all is well, its my old spring, I had the new one in my gun phew!
