The reason I was asking is I didn't know if he was planning on shooting in Carry Optics in USPSA. I haven't checked all the rules, but I would assume you couldn't use a conversion barrel. I have a 5" Pro myself in 40, but not the CORE. I wish I had the CORE myself. I shoot 40 minor and it's soft...
If you want a bunch of the political signs, contact the loser of the next primary if local office, or just pickup the regional/national candidates signs.
By the way if you want to reuse a sign they can be cleaned using acetone or maybe mineral spirits. Handy for a yard sale or the kids paint...
Little Swiss Army in right front pocket. I use the scissors fairly often. I also carry a Kershaw speed safe inside my waistband, about the 1 o'clock position. It's slanted and comfortable to carry like that. Much better than than inside pocket carry as far as I'm concerned.
S&W Shield in 9mm small enough for comfortable IWB carry but a pleasure to shoot at the range.
I sometimes carry a Taurus 380 in my pocket. Easy to carry like a LCP, but no fun to shoot at all.
Interesting, I bought a used 650xl setup about the same recently and have the LNL but no case feeder. I had to order a conversion kit for 40 and being out of town haven't had a chance to load on it yet. I wasn't unhappy with the LNL but got a deal I couldn't pass up.
Once you get a little more...
You'll love it. I have one too, but you might lose the white dot in the front site. Mine came out a couple of weeks ago.
Smith has a problem there. I have a compact and same thing. the would replace the sites no problem but I don't want to be without them that long.
I've shot mine twice now...
From studies I've read they all get the job done about the same in the real world. I started with a 40 and shoot that the most in USPSA but downloaded to 9mm power mostly. But I have a couple of 9mm too and use my M&P Shield in local IDPA because that's what I carry lately.
A good reason to...
M&P 9c for compact. Add a full size mag and Xgrip sleeve for full capacity. That way you have a good concealed gun if you want.
You'll get used to the trigger.
The kb are more related to shooting lead bullets I believe in a stock barrel. I reload 40 range pickups. I run my brass through a Lee Bulge Buster to fix the Glock bulge. Most who shoot lead will buy a barrel with regular rifling. But I know of guys who have a stock barrel and shoot lead anyway...
Update on swagging primer pockets with the Lee hand loader. That was a no go. I have the RCBS press swagger and there isn't enough room for the case stripper in the press. The ram is very close to the body. I'm sure that is because it's not a heavy duty press and they need to keep the ram close...
I use a Lee hand press sometimes and it does a good job. I've only used it for 9mm loads so far. You will have to buy dies so its a little more than just the press. One thing about them is spent primers go into the ram. You need to empty it ever 25 or so cartridges. It's a real PITA if it gets...
I'm in the M&P camp. A couple of years ago I started shooting USPSA & IDPA at a couple of local clubs. I decided to go with a different platform than my SIG 226. I wanted to shoot Production class. IDPA puts the XD in a different class, so that leaves out XD. I also wanted to shoot cast...
I'm thinking the x-change in 9mm. I like the SIG and I'd like to have a gun with night sights and don't have one right now. So if I account for the costs of sights and a barrel, looks like the x-change would be the way to go. I've seen them for just under $300. I have both the 40 and 357 Sig...
I didn't have any 9mm until I bought a M&P Shield in 9mm. Everything else is 40 S&W. So now I'm thinking I need a 9mm range gun. I have a SIG 226 and S&W M&P pro. So I have some options.
1) Buy a 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm mags for either gun. $175-$230 or so with one mag.
2) SIG 226...
It's been years, but they are good. I also raised rabbits for a year or so. I had 5 does and a buck. I never sold any of the young. Rabbit was so good, I didn't want to eat chicken for years.
