Thats the deal my wife and i had. I told her i dont want a ring because of safty reasons at work and that i would rather have a new shotgun. So shortly after she got her ring she brought home a shiney new benelli for me! I was happy
I own both and honestly i couldnt tell you a differance. I was told lense coatings. I have a prostaff 3-4x40 on my 06 and love it. Waited for cabelas to have a sale and got it for $159, they might actually be on sale right now at midway
Get rid of the rings that tikka provided, they are junk.
Im a big fan of nikon scopes to. I just put a buckmaster 4.5-14 on my tikka and love it. Plus i have 3 3-9x40 pro staffs on my other rifles. Nikon manufactures glass for most other scope brands anyway plus there warranty is better than most
It is most certainly black bear! I am in washington so its not even big black bear. With the 7mm bullets generally having a much higher b.c. and flatter trajectory than the .300 the energy differance out at 500yds is minimal
I have the spot on app on my phone and use it at the range once and a while...it works pretty well. There are some good vids on youtube of people using it to
The purchase i just made was the tikka t3 with a nikon buckmaster scope all out the door for under a grand easy. That rifle is available in all the calibers you mentioned and has a sub moa garuntee. I would recomend the 30-06 for your first rifle because of the reasons mentioned above. It is...
I would definatly buy another one. The only thing i dont like is the hollow stock. I know its the "lite" model and it saves a bunch of weight but i will be investing in one of the B&C stocks soon
Yea i read alot of bad reviews on the stock rings so i never even gave them a chance.
So far i love the trigger. I was also looking at the weatherby vanguarg sII and went with the tikka because the trigger is so much better
