SCOTUS considering Bianchi v Frosh/Duncan v Bonta the turning point for AW/magazine ban?

I have hopes that the current Supreme Court is friendly to gun ownership. No one ever knows how a case will end up.

    That One Go-to .357

I had a Security Six, and a Speed Six in .357, and I thought that they were great carry guns. I never fired that many rounds through them, and they would have lasted me forever.

    That One Go-to .357

Yes the motorcycle cops in Magnum Force carried Pythons, that’s what the Internet Movie Firearms Database states. And I dimly recall a discussion in the movie about the .357 Mag. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Magnum_Force

    Kyle Rittenhouse Trial?

I was tried for first degree murder and acquitted, and the situation came to me, not me to it. And I was asked in court why I did not flee the attack, and it was because I had been struck a few times with a thin steel chair leg. It may be that mister Rittenhouse should never have been there...

    Weapons type at trial

I was tried for brandishing a weapon, it was a .357 and the prosecutor snidely asked, “And what were you going to do with this gun.” I said that I was going to make a citizens arrest. I got jumped by 4 fatsos when I lived in the projects, so I ran upstairs and got my gun. I was acquitted.

    That One Go-to .357

If I get another .357, it will be one of these, a Ruger LCRx. I saw a Security Six on sale for $800 or something, which is nuts.

    Kyle Rittenhouse Trial?

I think that Kyle Rittenhouse will be acquitted on all counts. Looking at the videos of the wanton mayhem at the scene, I darn sure would have had a gun, if I was there.

Vermont Supreme Court upholds historic gun control law - High capacity magazines

Well I was hoping for better, but the 9th Circuit COA, only gets it right once in a blue moon. The vast majority of their rulings, on the Second Amendment, or anything that upholds conservatives , has been a dog and pony show. I guess one must be a Stanford law school grad to understand the...

Montana Becomes 18th State to Abolish Concealed Carry Permit Requirement

How many of those clowns do you think, will ever discharge their gun into a criminal? 1 or 2 or maybe even more than that? I would wager, more than that. So I forgive for their faux pas.

Montana Becomes 18th State to Abolish Concealed Carry Permit Requirement

That constitutes more progress in an ongoing revelation, and its big revolution too. It has gone under the radar of everyday America, but the Revolution continues. Being able to pack a piece is an empowerment, and who know how many people will benefit.

9th Circuit to reconsider California ban on high-capacity magazines

I hope they take it, the 9th Circuit I mean, since they may get it right. The more that cases are decided, then there will be that much more case law. They may overturn the ban, and that will complicate things, on the side of gun ownership. Who knows.

    Are Gun Owners Selfish.....

I am going to get ammo with my stimulus check, maybe a .357 too. And I feel fine with that decision. I am not obligated to support the NRA, I sent them $1,000 in 1980 for a Benefactor membership. I am not saying that I won’t send more, but right now I want good ammo. I don’t know what is coming...

Why 357 ammo is "watered down"

If you think that MARSOC is not politically influenced and does what it wants, then you are lost in your own wordy fog. I have seen Green Berets ready to piss their pants, because of unit cuts. Which are more political than anything else.

Please Stay on Topic This Time! - Question About Biden's "Assault Weapons" Ban (part 2)

What does your street sense tell you? Mine tells me that Mini 14's will be on that list, right along with AR 15's. He will also try to classify a Berretta, and all other hi cap pistols, as weapons of war. And, I think that he will go after the M1911, the same way. Mark my words, you will be...

Why 357 ammo is "watered down"

1.Autopsies provide info that are implied, and can be inferred. I have inferred that a .45 is an excellent round. 2.I favor the .40, and I don't care what LE favors. Their likes an dislikes are like a merry go round. 3.I don't care what MARSOC does either. There are a lot of politics in the...
